tour de germany - Leipzig

ok, this will be the last stop for my tour in germany before the start of my exams... well, this is a much more "youthful" city as compared to that in dresden... probably this is due to the many students in the area...
once one leaves the old town area and ventures out into the residential areas, one will observe how run-down the city is... dont get me wrong, the city is nice, especially the night view, but there is such an obvious contrast between the old and the new in this city...
for this city, i didnt have the opportunity to capture as many pics as i did for the previous cities cos (i) forgot to bring the camera out during the night... (ii) the battery went dead on me...=(

nevertheless, i did take some shots of the entire city when i went up the only skyscaper in leipzig (some broadcasting tower)
oh, the many places which i would love to go... but they are all so far away...=(
and some pics of the contrasting buildings... and oh, nice graffiti too...and of course, my ICE train...
on the whole, leipzig = cheap nice beer + lots of pub-crawl with stefan + lots of stunning night/day views... see a hangover-ed stefan the next morning... and i was bitten by the flies/moquitoes/bloodsuckers during my frisbee training the previous thursday... served me right for forgetting my insect repellent... and the bites are still swollen & painful & itchy till now...
