tour de germany - Stuttgart

spent a wonderful 3 days with sebastian and manu in stuttgart... even though the previous apartment of theirs was nicer than the current one, this new apartment is pretty cosy too...=) and i get to sleep on a "air-bed" cos there is currently no room for me (they rented one of their rooms to alice when sebastian went to india for 4 months)...

and i was so surprised to see the following pics in the study room... it was taken in the summer of 2005, when the four of us visited the folks of manu in the city of bamburg (south-eastern part of germany)...

and i "brought" the sun to stuttgart... the weather in germany was hovering below 20 degrees for the last 3-5 weeks, but when i was there, temperature hit 32 degrees on saturday and 34 degrees the following day... and germans love the sunny weather... and so, we spent 2 days at the lake sunbathing...

interesting things observed during the 2 days...

(i) if you ever go to a lake/beach in germany and you see the words "FKK" on the map, it means a nude area... yes, people go totally nude... whoa... my feelings? i can just divide it into 3 stages: "shocked, hmmm... ok, it's nothing..." and alice was explaining to me that FKK translates into "Free Body Culture" in english...
(ii) saw 2 couples having sex in the lake... i didnt peep, but they are just right in front of me...

(iii) bikinis!!! they are such wonderful inventions... =D

the lake, the cold water and the duckies... i love duckies, they are cute as well as yummy... but the little ones didnt take my bait when i tried to get them to swim towards me...

and of course, not forgetting the food...
