happy SPAINing... (part II)

a continuation of the previous entry...

...spent the last 2 days in malaga and granada... and due to the little time we had there, we didnt managed to get to know anyone... well, almost... and the 2 days were spent visiting the alcazaba in malaga and the alhambra in granada... well, so many things to do and see, yet so little time for them...

MALAGA

and what's this thing with pretty girls manning the hostel's front desk...? hahahaha... and they actually "welcome" me by displaying the names of the people coming to the hostel everyday... right outside the entrance... i like this hostel already...see my name?

went to the ALCAZABA

being a coastel town, there are bound to have some nice beaches...

GRANADA

only had the time to visit the alhambra... which is considered as pretty rare, since the place only allows 1000 persons per day, and that the tickets available online was snapped up 2 weeks ago... but well, every dog has its day...=)

ok, not forgetting the food too...

things i learnt about myself during this whole week...

1. absolutely hate taking 6-hour bus journeys....

2. so ignorant of european history.... i need to read more...history of alhambra...

3. love tapas... in short, good food...

4. ignorant of the world in general... everyone seems soooooooo intelligent...

5. love making friends from all over the world... =)

6. travelling in luxurious mode... hahahahaha... no no, kidding on that... travelling on budget is definitely the way to go... there are just sooo many places to explore....

7. inability to keep to the daily food budget

8. too lazy to do some serious planning... which lead to me coming back earlier... and i must understand the fact that it is always beneficial to bring some spare cash... always...

9. absolutely hate taking 4-hour bus journeys.... and 3-hour ones... 2-hour ones... argh...! anything more than 2 hours on a bus is a torture...

things i must learn to do...

1/2/3/4/5/6/........ learn to keep my mouth shut... or at least speak more tactfully....

things to do next...

1. start preparing for my trip to germany... err.... i mean to move over to hamburg for the next coming 6 months...

2. start planning for a trip to holland to visit ramses...

3. kick myself back into the mood for studying... school is starting in germany next monday...
