Trip to Guimarães

ok everyone, in case you thought that i (a)went missing or (b) died in my sleep, here i am again... busy with reports and assignments over the last few days, that's why the blog went un-updated...

hmmm... despite the tight schedule, i took a day out to visit Guimarães and Braga over the weekend, and here are the nice pics... to me, porto is the prettiest city so far in portugal, but Guimarães is really nice too.... i just couldn't resist the chance to have fun!!!

trip to the Guimarães castle and the Ducal... this place is said to be the home of the first king of portugal.... castle first followed by palace...

also, how can i miss out the stature of the first king! and the guy next to it (fabio), he's the king" of our class, in terms of alcohol consumption... wahahahhaha

and look!!! the king was a german!!! no thanks to the czech guys... really fun and crazy...

and after that, we went to the old town of Guimarães, which is like sooooo breathtaking!!

went to visit Bom Jesus de Braga... some old convent... that place... one of the best view that you can have... and i almost forgot to mention, we took this cable car too... Joao (our guide) was mentioning that we have no girls in our cable car... wahahaha... the gay cabin.... lastly, to at least prove my existance....
