euro 2008 tickets!!

for all the guys (ok, gals too)... who wants to go watch the soccer matches in euro2008??

match tickets are currently for up for pre-registration leading to a balloting exercise in april 2007... i will be putting my name forward and i will be asking for 4 tickets for up to 3 matches...is there anyone who is interested??

in case you dont realise it, euro 2008 will be held jointly by switzerland and austria... from 7th june till 29th june 2008...for interested parties, it will cost like 45euros (Cat C) or 80euros (Cat B) and 110euros (Cat A) per ticket for the group matches...

as for who is playing, we wouldnt know yet cos the qualifying matches are still in place... so its a matter of luck if we do get the tickets... we could have matches like holland vs sweden (if we are lucky) or we get austria vs latvia (if we are damn suay)...

and the most important thing, the budget... think if we go for 3 group matches (each stadium will host 3 group matches- so we either go around the whole country for the group matches or we stay at one city for all the 3 matches), and if we get the cheapest tickets... we need approximately 4000 singapore dollars (around 2 weeks...airfare and accommodation included, plus of course all the travelling round the country since we are in europe for goodness' sake)...

so pls pls, indicate your interest to me ok?? i need to register within the next 3 weeks... remember i can only apply for 4 tickets...

and people i am targetting...
- whoever is a soccer fan (esp junxiang, alex, weiqing)... come on, its a great opportunity... and if we choose and managed to get the tickets for the matches in zurich, i have a friend in stuttgart (which is 2.5 hours by train) and i think we can get free accommodation there... =)

and the good thing is that, we have one full year to start "eating air" and start saving... i know about the study loan payments, but i think everything will be worthwhile...
