wanderlust strikes again!

despite the delays faced over the last couple of months, the progress of the project (at least from now on) looks good and smooth-flowing... and with the internship looming (since kirk has got his work permit, mine shouldn't be too far away), time is running out for me to do some travelling... =p

next up, hamburg and stockholm from next tuesday... =)

Grand Parade: Aalborg Carnival 2008 (Part2)

finally, the day of reckoning! well, at least for the danes... aalborg carnival was said to be the largest carnival in the whole of northern europe, and after going through the "battle of the carnival bands" parade yesterday, i assumed that was it... 12 bands parading in the streets of aalborg, and thats all... but man! i was soooooooo wrong! compared to the st paddy's day in dublin, the display of the bands may not be as colorful, but up to 25 000 participants of the aalborg carnival made it a much more impressive parade! a pic paints a thousand words, and presenting... an equivalent of 65 000 words!
