it's been a long 26 years of my life... looking back at things, over my university years all the way until now, it seems like i have not achieved anything significant in my life so far... well, i did complete my studies in NTU... but almost 2 years after that, here i am, still a poor student... as compared to most of my peers, it seems like there is an ever-expanding barrier between me and the rest... some had already started their families, some had bought their first car, some are flying high in their careers, some bought their second car, some are currently bagging a 5-digit monthly salary, some are...., some had....
maybe its just the fact that i am on the wrong side of twenties, and that i have nothing to my name as yet, apart from tons of libilities (i.e. debts)... is that why i am feeling kinda insecure? concerned friends have always told me:"you are going to have a great career after your masters" or "it's just a matter of priorities" or "you are getting lots of experiences by staying abroad"... true, thats what i've been telling myself so far... but perhaps, being brought up in a materialistic and competitive society, defending myself through these excuses don't seem sufficient...
but well, there is no point dwelling on this now, since what's done can't be undone... so i might as well look back at the things which i had done so far... searched my entire collection of pics, not too many pics, but here's the highlights of my life since 2002 when i started my university life...

italy trip just before my exams at TUHH... well, the return tickets from hamburg to venice = 20 euros... why not?!
the day i poured my heart out over the
4-euro-per-can-coke!!!
sebestian and manu came to hamburg to visit me!! july 2007...
trip from aalborg denmark back to TUHH for seminar... also the first time i drove on the left-hand side, and changed gear with my right hand, and not to mention,
hit 200km/h on the auto-bahn in germany!!!
3rd destination: aalborg denmark.... trip with clare to skagen...
trip to poland (nov 2007)... first time seeing snow... met up with stefan once again...
of course,
beer is still the theme in denmark....
holidays back in singapore (III)... dec 2007/jan 2008 : pigging-out sessions "season" begins... first SINGHAs meeting since germany...
of course, i should not forget my birthday resolutions!! or rather, my birthday wishes... i wish, and i wish for the following:
(i) secure a well-paying job after graduation this sept... and i really mean a well-paying job!!
(ii) exercise more... play more ultimate frisbee!!
(iii) add asia into some of the destinations for my graduation trip...
(iv) maybe australia too!
(v) be happy...
(vi) make that VERY happy...
(vii) make people around me happy too!
(viii) learn how to cook better perhaps?
(xi) try to be healthy... more sleep, less late nights...
(x) survive my first bungee jump... planning to do the highest jump in the world, which is apparently in switzerland...
