okok, the weekend is coming again... =)
let's play the 20-statements-but-5-are-false-statements again... only difference is that i will be talking about my experiences in portugal in the 5 weeks since i arrived...
1. the transport ministry of portugal must be crazily in love with round-abouts... lots of these in portugal... everywhere in fact...
2. salt from the salt mines nearby can cost up to 5 euros per kilogram
3. when portugeses said 9am, they mean 9.15am... it's understood...
4. typical description of portugese ladies: petite, big pretty brown eyes and long lashes... and those cleavage... whoa!!
5. almost everyone owns a car... full of vehicles parked in school... as long as the land is unoccupied, it is a carpark...
6. the colours "blue" and "green" are the official colours of porto football club and benfica respectively
7. i go around the house trying to kill flies with my slippers in my hands
8. making-out in cars is considered as a "favourite past-time" among students
9. no pretty chinese gals here.. =(
10. need at least 400 euros to survive per month... excluding rent...
11. coffee... national drink!!
12. national dish... cod-fish... but all cod-fish are farmed and harvest in norway...
13. internet usage here is limited... the amount that is available to you every month is limited...
14. aloof and stuck-up... the people here...
15. i've been kisssed by more than 5 gals since i got here...
16. i miss home... =(
17. 3 of my erasmus mundus classmates are married, with the oldest one in his late 30s!!!
18. they have nothing like the "portugese egg tart" we have back in singapore, it's invented in macau instead...
19. rice is one of the staple food here
20. bean sprouts cost 1.50euros per 100grams
